Scotland moves south
The BBC have been forced to redesign their new weather map after numerous complaints from a place north of England called Scotland. Apparently the natives, known as Scots, were unhappy with the representation of their country as a small puddle in the northern distance. The new design corrects this by placing Scotland in the south where the Isle of Wight used to be (see below)
The response in Scotland has been favourable today. They even have their own newspaper up down there apparently, known as The Scotsman. That publication is already reporting an improvement in the weather as a consequence of the southerly move. And the Magazine Stropon say that they are very pleased by their country’s new close proximity to France. ‘A trip to Calais is a matter of minutes now,’ the editor, Ian McStrop, said today, ‘No more holidays in Blackpool for us now Jimmy!’
However, there have been a new batch of complaints received at the BBC today. They are coming from people in the Isle of Wight demanding to know where they have disappeared to.

I don’t care where the Isle of Wight has gone, but please, let’s start another movement to put the Jocks back where they belong. Haven’t we trying to keep them up North now for over a 1000 years.

No problem Scott, I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything wrong with my posting form. That would have accounted for there not being thousands of posts on here. That’s why it’s a tad disappointing to find there isn’t a problem
